Emma is a Research Fellow and Health Psychologist researching ways to improve vaccination uptake nationally, her with NIHR-funded ‘Maternal Vaccination in the NHS’ (MAVIS) Study: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/mavis-study, and internationally as part of the EU-funded JITSUVAX project team addressing vaccination misinformation with healthcare providers: https://jitsuvax.github.io/index.html

Emma leads the Health Psychology and Interventions Group, a network within/beyond the University with health psychology, behavioural science and intervention interests.

With expertise in running pragmatic trials and studies in various NHS clinical settings, Emma’s general interests lie in clinical communication, behaviour change and intervention development and testing, with specific interests in applying these to vaccination equity.
