Due to ongoing uncertainties surrounding the current pandemic regulations, the faculty of CVNUK decided to replace this year’s physical conference with an online conference which took place on 27th November 2020. This features a variety of presentations focused on the development of a vaccine for Covid-19.

Samuel Abbott

Sam Abbott uses statistical and mathematical modelling to explore Tuberculosis epidemiology. He is also interested in reproducible research, tooling for research, and teaching best technical practise. He gained degrees in Mathematics and Mathematical Biology before beginning a PhD studying the changing usage of the BCG vaccine in England at the University of Bristol. He is currently a final year PhD student. See more of his work here:
